چکیده
Titanium carbide (Ti3C2Tx) MXene possesses various unique physicochemical and catalytic properties. However, the electrochemical CO oxidation performance is not yet addressed experimentally. Herein, Ti3C2Tx (TX=OH, O, F) ordered exfoliated two-dimensional nanosheets ornamented with semi-spherical palladium nanoparticles (2.5 Wt. %) an average diameter of (10±1 nm) (denoted as Pd/Ti3C2Tx) rationally designed for oxidation. The fabrication process based on selective chemical etching Ti3AlC2 delamination under sonication to form that are used a substrate reducing agent supporting in situ growth Pd via impregnation salt. Interestingly, Pd-free displayed inferior activity, while Pd/Ti3C2Tx enhanced activity substantially. This attributed combination outstanding properties merits nanoparticles.

متن کاملTwo-Dimensional Titanium Carbide MXene As a Cathode Material for Hybrid Magnesium/Lithium-Ion Batteries.
As an alternative to pure lithium-ion, Li+, systems, a hybrid magnesium, Mg2+, and Li+ battery can potentially combine the high capacity, high voltage, and fast Li+ intercalation of Li-ion battery cathodes and the high capacity, low cost, and dendrite-free Mg metal anodes. Herein, we report on the use of two-dimensional titanium carbide, Ti3C2Tx (MXene), as a cathode in hybrid Mg2+/Li+ batterie...

We explore electro-catalytic properties of a system consisting of platinum and palladium nanoparticles dispersed over a nanotubular self-organized TiO2 matrix. These electrodes prepared by electroess and microemulsion of palladium and palladium nanoparticles on to TiO2 nanotubes, respectively. Titanium oxide nanotubes were fabricated by anodizing titanium foil in ethylene glycol (EG) fluoride-c...
متن کاملElectrochemical Studies of Water-Soluble Palladium Nanoparticles
Aqueous-soluble monolayer-protected palladium nanoparticles were synthesized by hydrogen reduction of Pd(II) in a water solution. The particles were then further functionalized by incorporating multiple copies of mercapto derivatives of viologen into the particle protecting monolayers. The electrochemistry of the viologen moieties with the particles dissolved in solution or immobilized onto ele...
